This is the famous Fernandes Flying V of guitar hero Randy Rhoads. It is a faithful copy of the Flying V, familiar to fans who have used it since the Quiet Riot era, and a model handmade by guitar builder Carl Sandoval. Gibson's Flying V is basically made of all-mahogany material, but this model combines a mahogany body with a maple neck, and the edge of the wound strings and the brightness of the high range when driven hard are just like Randy Rhoads' sound! The pickups are thought to be the original VH-2/SH-1 pickups. Other parts also appear to be original.
