This Martz Chassis built Mustang roller/project is a very rare survivor of PA, Ohio Valley Late Models wars of the 1970s. The car has a well known history & photos from its construction to today. It was fabricated by famed chassis builder Gary Martz in 1975. It was built for Steve Rice (#21) of Bedford, PA whose father Don Rice owned a Ford dealership & sponsored many PA hot shoes.

It has a Ford big car front stub with all the rest race car tubing. The body is a 69 Mach I.

It always ran Ford big block FE engines. He raced the car at PA tracks like Bedford & Jennerstown. He ran the car at tracks like Pennsboro, Ohio Valley Speedway, Tyler County throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.

I got the car from Norman in 2002. It was in very rough condition. It was slowly brought back up on it's wheels and the cosmetic restoration was finished in 2016 for the Pennsboro Reunion. The car was painted like Norman Jackson's era with hand painted lettering.

Paint still looks great, with a few minor blemishes & scratches. Has a stock 10 bolt Camaro rearend to roll it around. It has a new set of Chrysler-style leaf springs from Speedway Motors. Period correct quick change rearend, 180 degree headers and core FE Ford big block engine and C6 transmission. No title, it is a race car.
